Chocolate Syrup
Homemade chocolate syrup! Great for dessert topping or making chocolate milk. With just 3 simple ingredients – water, cocoa, and sugar.
Chocolate Syrup
Equipment
- 1 pint jar with lid
Ingredients
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cup of cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 cup of water
Instructions
- Mix everything in a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
- Reduce to a simmer and whisk until it starts to thicken.
- Take it off the burner, let it cool.
- Place in airtight container and store in the fridge. It will also thicken in the fridge.
