Lip Balm
Making homemade beeswax lip balm is a fun and relatively simple project! Here’s a basic recipe to get you started:

Lip Balm
Equipment
- kitchen scale
- 1 Stainless Steel Wax Melting Pot or double boil method
- Hot Plate for wax melting or stovetop
- 25 Lip balm tubes
- Lip balm labels
- Lip balm filling tray optional
Ingredients
- 23 grams beeswax
- 22 grams cocoa butter
- 10 grams Coconut oil
- 17 grams shea butter
- 40 grams Olive oil
- 2 grams essential oil
Instructions
- Measure beeswax, cocoa butter, coconut oil, shea butter, and olive oil into Stainless Steel Wax Melting Pot and place on Hot Plate or put in the top of a double boiler.
- Melt the butters and waxes over low heat until completely combined.
- Remove from heat and add essential oils.
- Pour into lip balm tubes
- Let the lip balm cool and harden completely before using or capping the containers.
