Freezer garlic bread

This freezer garlic bread is perfect for pairing with pasta dishes, soups, or as a quick snack on its own!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 loaf of French sourdough recipe in link
  • 8 tbsp butter softened
  • Garlic salt & Parsley recipe in link
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese optional

Method
 

  1. Slice the loaf of bread into thick slices, about 1 inch each.
  2. Generously spread the butter on each slice of bread, making sure to cover the surface evenly and place on baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Sprinkle garlic salt & parsley over the buttered bread slices. Top with cheese if using.
  4. Place the baking sheet in the freezer for 30 minutes.
  5. Place the frozen bread in a resealable freezer bag or airtight container to prevent freezer burn. Use within 3 months for freshness.
  6. When ready to bake, preheat your oven to 375°F.
  7. Place the frozen garlic bread on baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the bread is hot and the butter has melted. For a crispier texture, broil for the last 2-3 minutes of baking.
