Equipment

  • 1 griddle/skillet
  • 1 rolling pin
  • 1 scale

Ingredients

  • 3 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 3 tbsp Lard
  • 1 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup warm water

Instructions

  • Knead all ingredients together in mix with dough hook or hands
  • Tear into a dozen golf ball size chunks or weight out 60 -64 grams per dough ball. Roll between your hands to create a ball
  • place onto greased tray, cover and let them rest for 15 minutes
  • dip one at a time into a little flour and use rolling pin to roll them out approximately 5-6 inches in diameter

  • Heat griddle to medium high temperature and add tortilla
  • cook each side for 45 - 60 seconds or until light brown spots form
  • Place between towels to keep warm
